Level 1 IT Help Desk Operator

As a key member of the IT team, you will responsible for:
Manage incoming and outgoing calls for level 1 technical support
Manage Network access
Install required applications on desktops
Undertake diagnostic investigations and where necessary, arrange in-house repair or remedial action
Liaise with technicians and internal customers in relation to their calls/requests
Ideally, you will demonstrate:
1+ year of previous Help Desk/Troubleshooting experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to detect, analyse and resolve hardware and software problems
A strong work ethic and proven ability to work successfully as part of a team
An interest in working in a help desk environment or technical support related role
A strong background working with Windows operating systems
Understanding of Windows Server
Understanding of network protocols
Understanding of IT related hardware and software solutions
An interest in supporting software and applications within the windows environment
Any background with POS systems (this is an advantage but not a pre-requisite)
A completed qualification in IT or someone studying towards IT would be highly regarded
