About this opportunity:

 

Our Sun valley store in Gladstone is currently looking for a motivated and coachable worker, to join and help lead the store's service deli department for 20 hours a week.

 

Reporting directly to the Service Deli Manager, this successful applicant will be given the training skills required to manage a small team, create rosters, generate orders, complete stock takes + much more!

 

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Fresh food retail knowledge is desired, but not essential
  • Willingness to learn
  • Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
  • Unparalleled commitment to customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with both team members and management
  • Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
  • Commitment to work health and safety standard
